Mr. Tateno has been working in Weathernews Inc. (WNI) since 2004.
His 17 years’ experience at WNI has started from President's office/Human resources and spent most of career in Global Media (Mobile/Internet/Broadcasting) Business Division.
From 2017, he has started his career in Data Strategy Division and been in charge of Public Private Partnership activities with the collaboration of international and local public organizations. From 2020,
he became the initial member of Business Development Office working on the development of new
business and utilization of cutting-edge technologies.
Steering Committee Member of Weather Business Consortium (WXBC) in Japan.
Born in Tokyo, and holds BA in Psychology from California State University Northridge, USA.
